One of the School of Geography and Planning’s 50th anniversary celebration events, ‘Changing Landscapes: people, places and politics in the Valleys’ will open a debate about the changing socio-economic, environmental and political landscapes of the Valleys.


Professor Kevin Morgan, School of Geography and Planning, Cardiff University, will chair this event and speakers from Cardiff University, the Bevan Foundation, The University of South Wales and Welsh Government will explore the present state and future options for the Valleys.
